The Weekend

It's nice to relax with a coffee and late lunch and read. Even in a crowded cafe the world disappears behind the pages of a good book.
When not engrossed reading a good book on his kindle, watching science fiction, singing with the Cappella Singers or looking for new apps for his Iphone Daryl also trawls through the Internet and posts useful articles on his Blog. He welcomes your thoughtful contributions or questions.

The Shallows
Wednesday, August 11, 2010 at 11:51PM Today I took a look through our local book shop. I always feel relaxed when browsing through the shop. So many great books and so little time to read them all. Today I purchased a book called "The Shallows" by Nicholas Carr. It's sub title is "How the internet is changing the way we think, read and remember". I am looking forward to reading it and will report back what I think.
