Facebook Groups

Over the last few days Facebook has created a new "groups"option. In essence it allows a Facebook user to create a group and depending on the privacy setting allow it to be public or invite only. It allows users to create groups for specific topics of interest and gives the user more control of how they interact with friends. Under the old system friends were lumped in one bucket now you can create groups of friends depending on your needs.

I created an invite only group called "Elearning, Social Networks & Web 2.0" to test the new groups option. If you would like to join this group just email me. This group is a place to chat about all things elearning.

I have decided to make my Facebook group open to all so no need to email just pop onto Facebook and join up :)
